When my wall is down
my protection. Uncensored, see my whole, not a fraction. When my insecurities, fears, hopes, are exposed. My fragility my weaknesses. Can you love those? Strip off my independence, take off my pride. Unzip my exterior, unbutton my mind. Look at me. Can you love this?

My mom talked about this poem to me and how good she thought it was. She was right. I hope that you keep a book on you to capture the moments when creative writing comes to you. You have a lot of talent in poetry AND singing (yeah I'm busting you out) just waiting for you to take advantage of.

Thanks!! I use to write a lot!!!! I've slowed down now but I'm going to start back. And don't be busting me out I only sing in the house! ?? I'm too shy to sing in front of people.
